Our Service team at Seldi Service limited all have a wealth of experience in the administration, service and support of many types of instrumentation within small independent laboratories to large pharmaceutical based contracts throughout Europe and North America. As well as the key partners listed below we have a bank of other trustworthy reliable engineers we may call upon as required.
Richard Curtis (European Service Manager/Primary Engineer)
Richard has a total of over 40 years’ experience in Service.
Jobs included all aspects of all service from installation, commissioning and networking, through to planning and executing preventative maintenance and repairs as well as co-ordinating and running service contracts with multiple engineers on multiple sites, training junior technicians, training Glaxo engineering staff on specialist equipment, Writing BS5750 and ISO9000 test procedures. Equipment worked on include microwave guidance systems, HPLC systems, robotic auto samplers, pumps and UV detectors, SELDI TOF , breast scanners, live mouse scanners and many more.
Kim Wirstrom (European/Nordic service partner based in Sweden)
Kim covers service throughout the Nordic region and has many years of experience as a Service Manager and engineer. As well as SELDI Kim is highly skilled in HPLC, PCR, Scanning Microscopy, Light microscopy, Luminex multiplex systems as well as many other instruments.
Steve Cleverley (Scientific and business consultant)
Steve has worked in various technical support and customer service management roles for over 15 years. He worked for Ciphergen for 6 years and was involved in field-based application development, customer training and support, instrument installation and commissioning. He has also been involved in product scoping, design, and marketing. More recently, Steve coordinated the product launch and European support of a novel biosensor platform.
Jim Jones (Service partner in the USA)
Jim has worked in a variety of service engineering roles over the last 50 years. He covers the whole of the US from his base of the East Coast. Our association and collaboration began when he worked as the North American Senior Service Engineer for Ciphergen.
